Description

On offer here is a First press copy of Ummagumma by Pink Floyd, released on the Harvest record label in 1969, catalogue number SHDW 1 / 2


This being a First press, it has the laminated gatefold sleeve made by E J Day & Co, with “ London” misspelt as “ Londen”.


It does not have the EMI box on the label, which has the “ Gramaphone Co Ltd” credit.


The laminated gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition


Vinyl One has a couple of light non penetrating hairlines and a couple of light scuffs from where the vinyl was removed from the original white paper inner, and is conservatively rated as Very Good Plus.


Vinyl Two has a couple of short hairlines on one side and is rated Excellent



The matrix numbers are SHDW 1 A-1 and B-2, and SHDW 2 A-1 and B2


Whilst not in Mint condition this is a rare first press and highly valued by collectors.
