Description
Pink Floyd – Us And Them 7" Promo Single (1974 US Harvest Yellow & Green Label Radio DJ Copy) Up for auction is a rare, original 1974 United States promotional radio station 7" single of "Us and Them" from the legendary Dark Side of the Moon album. This scarce promotional variant features the unique 3:15 single edit mixed in Mono on one side and Stereo on the reverse. Unlike standard promos printed on plain white labels, this hard-to-find radio station variant features the official yellow and green Harvest center labels with "Not For Sale" promo designations cleanly printed on the faces. Important Pressing & Identification Details:
- Format: Promotional Release – "Not For Sale" cleanly printed on center labels.
- Center Labels: Authentic 1974 Yellow and Green Harvest layout.
- Mastering Engineer Signature: Features the distinct hand-etched "Wly" signature in the dead wax, certifying this lacquer was cut by legendary Capitol engineer Wally Traugott.
- Mono Side Matrix (Label/Runout): PRO-6829 / PRO-6829-F (Stamped "MASTERED BY CAPITOL" in the dead wax).
- Stereo Side Matrix (Label/Runout): S45-X48032A / S-45-48032-A (Stamped "MASTERED BY CAPITOL" in the dead wax).
- Overall Condition: Graded conservatively as Good (G) based on a careful visual inspection. (Please note: I do not own a record player and have no means to play-test the audio).
- Vinyl: The vinyl shows visible surface marks, paper scuffs, and signs of handling typical for an authentic, played radio station promotional copy. It retains some original sheen but expects cosmetic wear.
- Labels / Sleeve: The yellow and green center labels remain completely bright and legible with no ink handwriting or broadcast stickers on either side. Comes housed in a standard vintage paper sleeve in Good condition.
