Hi Everyone,
Selling off some of my collection of various items.
This is an Australian boxed set of the 10 albums released by Pink Floyd on EMI up to 1988.
The corners of the box lid have split as shown in the photos, I have chosen not to tape these up.
The front and rear panels of the box have scuff marks as seen in the photographs.
The base section of the box has some scuffing, and the outer black paper on the spine of the box has split where the lid joins the base, but the lid has not come off. This can be seen in the photographs.
EMI applied a triangular label on the spine of the box, covering up poorly aligned lettering underneath. This label has fallen off when the glue has dried out but is included.
The "Wish You Were Here" album has the Hipgnosis-designed postcard.
Included is a four page flier for EMI box sets, as shown in the photographs.
I have personally never played any of the records, but as I bought this used around 15 years ago, I cannot say if any have ever been played. The records and sleeves are in excellent condition save for a few issues:
The "Wish You Were Here" sleeve has some minor creases as shown in the photos.
Both the "Wish You Were Here" and "Ummagumma" sleeves have very minor ring wear.
Whilst the "Dark Side of the Moon" album has the poster showing the pyramids (as shown), the poster composed of photos of the band is missing.
The "Meddle" disc has a faint scuff line across it, as shown in the photo.
The "Dark Side of the Moon" cover has minor scuffing, as shown in the photo.
I have included photos of two of the discs to try and show the very good condition, and why I feel they are probably unplayed.
I will wrap each album in foam sheeting to prevent scuffing during transport, as well as the box.
