Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here (1975): SHVL 814
Wish You Were Here was recorded at Abbey Road studios, and was released on 12 September 1975. It reached No. 1 in the UK and US charts.
This copy is a first issue, released on the Harvest label, SHVL 814: A-4/B-10. It is from my own collection and has been stored upright in a case in a smoke-free household. I have not owned a turntable for many years, so can only offer a visual description of the album. I have inspected it thoroughly, and have detailed its condition below:
Outer Case
Still in the original black shrink-wrap, with the sticker intact.
The shrink-wrap has pulled back from the opening a little (under 2cm)
Few signs of wear to opening
No postcard
Inner Lyric Sleeve
SHVL 814 printed to bottom right of lyric side
Rounded corners
Opening in excellent condition
Slight stain to right hand side of picture side, about half way down
Excellent condition overall
Side One
Matrix SHVL 814 A-4
Spindle hole in excellent condition
Disk excellent (a few, hardly visible scratches)
Side Two
Matrix SHVL 814 B-10
Spindle hole in excellent condition
Disk excellent (ditto above)
I have not cleaned the disks, as the buyer will probably have their preferred way of cleaning. The disks are a little bit dusty, but not dirty.
I will post out well packaged and protected.
