The outer sleeve is the first variant, which is noted by the pinched spine and is still encased in its original black shrink wrap! There is minor imperfections/wear to the unsealed edge.
The labels are the first variant which shows "Waters-Gilmour-Wright" song-writers credit for 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond' (Side 1 Part 5). Which was subsequently changed on later pressings for just "Waters". Both the labels and spindle holes are STUNNING.
The matrix numbers on the vinyl show that this is a UK first A1 B3 pressing. The mother stamper codes also suggest that the record was produced VERY early in the manufacturing line.
The original card inner sleeve, with a notch to the top edge and is die-cut on three of the four corners is nice for age! It has minimal wear, some dirt and minor imperfections.
The vinyl it self has a beautiful glossy sheen in appearance and sits flat to the surface. There are some light, insignificant surface lines which are not feelable at all.
Completing this set is the often missing Wish You Were Here Postcard with crinkle cut edges. It is beautiful and glossy with only incredibly minor imperfections.
