- This copy plays without any major issues, a bit of crackle in the quietest spots, still a very good listening experience... and it's all there! -

First issue. Released with the cover hidden under black shrink wrap with a round Wish You Were Here sticker on the outside of the shrink wrap. Spine is narrow (pinched) at the top and bottom and wide in the middle on some covers, and uniformed on others (like all spines). Issued with lyrics on a die cut inner sleeve and a glossy postcard, with jagged edges, of a diving man.
This version's inner sleeve is die cut on 3 of the 4 corners. And Hard Card.
On label side 1, Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part 5 is credited to "Waters-Gilmour-Wright" (later have "Waters" only).
Opening at top center with notch.

Ticks all the boxes for a complete original 1st issue 1975 UK LP, 'Waters/Gilmour/Wright', Track 5/Side 1; postcard with correct cat no. and serrated edges; original black shrink with hype sticker! ; Inner sleeve is made off stiff card and has 3 off corners diagonally cut - its all there!
The black shrink wrap has the round title sticker still in place.... rare to have it! - It is in condition commensurate with its age , stretch marks , creases , and ripped along the top , and it has shrunk a bit, still fits over the cover but fragile!
As a result, being kept inside the shrink, the sleeve is really lovely; very clean.... with a bit of handling wear to outer edge
The 3-corner cut inner is excellent , no rips , no rubbing and just a few light handling marks - see photos
Postcard is not written on , has serrated edge genuine first issue cat.no.- excellent order
Labels are excellent , no major usage marks visible, no ink marks - super
Both sides of the vinyl are very clean, have a good sheen - there are somescuffs/hairlines; on the surface though, no deep scratches. I tried to capture a couple in the photos... all round visually it is still very good... It sounds great too - No jumps , No loud pops ,some occasional light static and crackle , in quietest moments where you'd expect, and track build ups (at start and title track for example) - - I have tried to capture a fair assessment of the powerful sound in the video clip - please view/listen to it. Overall it sounds fantastic! -
