Description
For sale is a very clean 1975 UK first pressing of Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here (Harvest SHVL 814) with the desirable A1/B3 matrix — regarded as the true earliest first press.
This early first-issue copy includes two key collector details many people specifically look for:
• The original Waters-Gilmour-Wright songwriting credit on Side 1, Part 5 of “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” (later changed to “Waters” only)
• The correct 3-corner die-cut inner sleeve
Condition:
• Vinyl: Near-mint. Crystal clear and glossy with only a couple of very light hairline marks — nothing significant and fully expected on a 50-year-old record. Plays perfectly with no issues.
• Cover: Excellent condition for its age. Clean with bright colours, sharp corners and only very light edge wear. No splits, no writing, no stickers, no heavy ring-wear.
• Inner sleeve: Original 3-corner die-cut inner is present and in good shape.
This is a strong, honest early first pressing with excellent vinyl and a very nice cover. The A1/B3 matrix and early label variant add genuine appeal for Pink Floyd collectors.
