The Provenance & History:
This is a true one-owner family treasure, purchased brand new in 1975 and held in climate-controlled storage for the last 30 years. This record has never been in a shop or flea market—it has been in one house for five decades. My mom bought this when it came out and I was 6 years old and have been listening to it since I was a little kid I probably shelled it in the late 80s and just been sitting in my collection since then
Rare 1st Pressing Details:
Matrix / Runout: Side A: 33453 - 1A / Side B: 33453 - 1A (The coveted Santa Maria 1A/1A first cut).
Original Blue Shrink: The original 1975 navy-blue opaque shrink wrap is still present, featuring the iconic mechanical handshake sticker.
Note on Wrap: The blue plastic shows its age with several tears and vintage tape stabilization, but it remains a rare "survivor" piece.
Condition Report:
Vinyl (Good / G): Visible surface marks and light scuffs from years of enjoyment. Plays through with vintage crackle typical of a mid-70s pressing, but no skips on my turntable.
Jacket: Protected by the original blue wrap; standard edge wear.
Inner Sleeve: Includes original "Diver" cardstock sleeve (shows some seam splits/wear). Postcard not included.
