Description

Over the next couple of days I will be listing a quite lovely collection of Pink Floyd albums. These will not include recent re-releases, dodgy quality recordings, or anything even remotely like. These will all be of excellent quality, some even better than that. They will include some UK 1st pressings, and if not they will be extremely early pressings. All matrix/mother/stamper combinations will be listed (so long as they are readable!) so you can tell exactly what you are bidding on. All gradings are visual only, strictly to record collector guidelines.
So here we have one of Floyds most iconic titles. "Wish You Were Here". UK 1st pressing with the correct cropped corner inner, pinched narrow spine, A1 and B3 first possible matrix numbers and extremely early mothers and stampers. Postcard too of course!

  • These creamy coloured sleeves usually age pretty badly, but this one is still a very clean example and hard to better. No shelf-wear either top or bottom and has benefitted greatly by being stored in a protective sleeve for all of its 47 years. Graded as excellent plus.
  • Vinyl is in great shape. The only thing worthy of mention are 3 very feint short scratches on side 2. These have no depth and certainly cannot be felt. You have to angle the vinyl in very bright light to even see them, so I am confident they will not impact on the listening pleasure. Apart from that this is one superb looking vinyl indeed. Graded as visually excellent.
  • The postcard is original to this 1st pressing and in great shape. Both bottom corners have a light crease, so to be totally fair I can only Grade as very good plus.
So all in all a really lovely copy and would grace any collection in my view.
All albums will be housed in a brand new heavy duty polythene cover. All vinyl's will be housed in a new anti-static inner sleeve. I pack my albums for transit in the most secure packaging imaginable and send 1st class signed for postage with The Royal Mail. I only charge exactly what it costs me!
I accept returns if I am notified immediately upon you receiving the album. This has to be due to it being wrongly described. Not just for a change of mind. I take the time to provide quality photographs of the album, along with a detailed description, so please respect this.
I will post overseas if you contact me first, due to issues in the past and ebays new postage rules it is in both our interests to do so. Failing to contact me first may mean I cancel your bid. I am more than happy to combine postage for multiple items. This saves both you and me.

Just a quick note to say that the cover in my photos seems to show some discolouration to the right and left hand edges. This is a shadow. The cover is pristine and even in colour across its width.
