Description

Record One

Artist;   Pink Floyd
Title;   Wish You Were Here
Label;   Harvest
Catalogue Number;   SHVL 814
Matrixes;    SHVL814 A-6 HTM / SHVL814 B-14 HTM
Year;   1975
Vinyl;   Ex. The record retains its shiny look, and has been well looked after. It looks near mint, has had a protective inner sleeve that has prevented those paper scuff marks that you would normally associate with a record like this in a card inner sleeve. It is a cut by Harry Moss (HTM) so sounds as dynamic as you would expect, the only minus against it is that there is some crackle audible in the quieter passages, and there are a few quiet sections in this album. However I did not find this too overbearing but is worth pointing out. I've had several copies of this album from different eras and find it affects them all.
Labels;   Ex.   No spindle marks, very clean labels.
Cover;   Ex. Has hardly any shelf wear at all, all edges remain nice and straight.
Inner Sleeve;   Ex. Custom inner sleeve is very clean with little marking and no feathering. Some browning to the inside of the inner, where it is cut to allow access. Includes a "Wish You Were Here" postcard.

As a bonus I am going to throw in a copy of Pink Floyd's Relics album from 1971 that that compiles early singles and album cuts from the Syd Barrett era and immediate aftermath. It is not a perfect copy but side one plays particularly well.

Artist;   Pink Floyd
Title;   Relics
Label;   EMI Starline
Catalogue Number;   SRS 5071
Matrixes;    SRS5071 A-1 / SRS 5071 B-3
Year;   1971
Vinyl;   VG. The record retains its shiny look, side one is near mint and sounds fantastic - Arnold Layne has a really punchy sound with good drums. Interstellar Overdrive has great stereo separation. See Emily play is pretty bassy. Side two has a scratch mark across tracks 1&2. Its not all that deep but does affect play. There no sticking but there are a few ticks on Julias Dream. The second side also has more crackle evident in between tracks and in the quiet bits. This is possibly due to the material having quieter passages than side one, because its not evident on Nile Song which is a much heavier song.
Labels;   Ex.   No spindle marks, very clean.
Cover;   Ex. Has some grubiness to the textured sleeve, particularly on the back, but very little shelf wear to the edges.
Inner Sleeve;   Ex. Generic white inner sleeve
