You are bidding on a gently used copy of “Wish You Were Here” by Pink Floyd on vinyl, released by Harvest records. The run-out information for this copy is unique, which makes this pressing hard to pin down precisely. It’s definitely an Italian pressing, as indicated on the labels. However, according to my research, each Italian pressing had a date etched into the run-out to indicate the year of release (75, 77, etc.). This has no date information at all on the run-outs, and the most similar run-out codes I could find to what’s present here are paired with pressings that did NOT include the postcard, which this copy clearly has (postcards were not included as of the fourth pressing). All I know for certain is this copy is probably not an original pressing, but was pressed sometime between 1975 & 1979, when the postcard stopped being included.

Vinyl is in strong VG+ condition. Wax is nice and glossy with just a few fingerprints and faint handling marks, which can likely be removed by cleaning the vinyl (these were present when I received the LP, and I have not tried cleaning it). The original heavy-stock inner sleeve is included and is in fantastic shape with no seam splits. Postcard has slight dings in a couple corners, but is still close to Like New condition. The jacket is in excellent shape for its age, just some normal shelf wear and surface dirt that is plainly visible against the bright background. Edges and corners are in great condition aside from a noticeable ding in the lower right corner, and the spine is crisp and fully legible. PLEASE NOTE: I am not a professional grader. As a collector, I have vinyl that looks absolutely destroyed but plays perfectly without a single skip, and I also have records I purchased Brand New that don’t have a single mark on them but skipped for no evident reason the first time I played them out of the shrink wrap. It’s just the nature of the format. All of the records I’m selling are graded based on the best assessment I can make by looking at the vinyl—obviously, I can’t listen to every record start to finish before listing them, so I’m providing the most detailed photos and descriptions I can to make sure anyone who purchases from me knows exactly what they’re buying and is satisfied. Cool? Cool.
