This item is First issue and overall really beautiful copy.
Released with the cover hidden under black shrink wrap with a round Wish You Were Here sticker on the outside of the shrink wrap. Spine is narrow (pinched) at the top and bottom and wide in the middle on some covers, and uniformed on others (like all spines). Issued with lyrics on a die cut inner sleeve and a glossy postcard, with jagged edges, of a diving man.

On label side 1, Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part 5 is credited to "Waters-Gilmour-Wright" (later have "Waters" only).

- Issue with matrix variant A-1 B-3 comes with die cut inner sleeve with the top two corners and bottom left corner cropped at an angle (looking from the red veil blowing in the wind side, see pic).
Opening on the top back with a nine inch notch in the center where the record is inserted.
