Really cool Pink Floyd Lp . The Sound Quality is as though it was recorded right at the soundboard , but with microphones such that it's as if you were actually in the audience . Some folks whistle some folks scream out and in this sense it's quite like a roller coaster ride , but the music itself is really amazing! It is an analogue recording of fairly high quality (other than the audience) , but many of the songs being performed were NEVER released in a pure analogue recording , so this is really a time capsule that puts you right there in the audience! It's actually like a soundboard recording, but with an added mic at the soundboard to add in the audience sound !
David Gilmore (I believe it's him) admonishes the audience to remain quiet as they begin ON THE TURNING AWAY , and they restart from the beginning ! A true analogue recording of this classic! This is a real gem , but I have only played a side here or a side there once every great while , never, to date ,having played all six sides consecutively. There may, in fact, be a side or two that I have yet to play. This is a must for any Pink Floyd fan , with awesome sound plus all the energy of being in the audience at sometimes equal volume! You don't see this one come up too often on E-bay so get your bid in and get those reminders about the end of auction coming up next week so it doesn't slip your mind with all the weeks end chaos! Some, not all of the sides have a little ball point number on the label denoting side , no hashmark , just a number. Just as it came when I bought it some 25 years ago. I'm going to add a Buy it now function to the auction for those of you who will not be able to "be there " right at 2:30 PM Thursday , so everyone gets a chance. Vinyl: NM Cover: Excellent Enjoy!
