Description
Pink floyd - dark side of the moon SHVL 804 ( on RUN OUTS ) Side 1 pressed with misspressed quadraphonic label . Side 2 pressed with the standard label. Stranger still, the the cover is the Quadraphonic pressed cover Q4SHVL 804 HAYES Middlesex ENGLAND with two posters and two stickers.
I have done a little research into this and found no other reference to this misspressing's existence at all. My research, taken on various record collecting forums is that this pressing is the SHVL 804 British pressing with early B3 A4 MATRIX numbers but with one quadaphonic missprinted label to side one.
This missprint is certainly a one off.
The quadraphonic label Q4SHVL can clearly be seen in the photograph with the WRONG matrix numbers A4 B3 for that release.
Additionally the cover is the Q4SHVL.
This is certainly a one off, possibly the only one in existence.
This is a fantastic pink floyd collectors piece and one that should not be missed.
INCREDIBLY RARE !
The vinyl is in excellent condition The cover is in excellent condition The two posters and two stickers look like they have never been used.
I have graded this using the rare record collectors grading guide.
