Description
The Pink Floyd 7in Single "Arnold Layne" and "Candy And A Currant Bun" on the Columbia label from 1967.Catalogue Number:DB 8156.This 1st pressing has the 4 prong centre and the matrices are as follows;
Side1 Matrix 7XCA 27877-1( at 6 o'clock) 1(at 9 o'clock) KT
( at 12 o'clock) and GG (at 3 o'clock).
Side 2 Matrix 7XCA 27878-1(at 5 o'clock) 1(at 8 o'clock) KT
( at 11 o'clock) and DG (at 2 o'clock).
The record plays perfectly well on side 1. Although it has considerable surface noise there are no scratch's,pop's or clicks and it does not jump or stick.There are a lot of removal marks and spindle marks but the print on the label is clean and bright.
On side 2 the record sticks right at the start and I had to move the stylus on about 3mm till the record would play properly.When it plays properly there is surface noise but no click's or pops and there are no more jumps or sticking.There are removal marks and spindle marks but again the label is clean and bright.I would grade the record at VG-.
This record comes in it's original sleeve which has no split seams,just a couple of very,very small tears at the opening.It has adverts for albums by Pink Floyd and The Black and White Minstrel Show on the back!Sleeve graded at EX-.
This record has been played all the way through before listing and is graded using the Record Collector Magazine system.I realize grading records is a matter of opinion so I accept returns but the buyer pays the return postage and items must be in the same condition that I posted them in.Any questions must be through e-bay.
