Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon ( 1973 Australian Quadrophonic Pressing. Gatefold cover. Q4 SHVLA 804 ). How rare must this be ??. . . Not many of these would sell on release for sure. Fascinating to hear such a familiar piece of music in a different mix ( guitars are higher up in the mix ) Very nice period piece. Very fragile black gatefold cover has slight ringwear and slight colour fading at the perimeter. Nothing to worry about though. EX. SQ labels are like new. NEAR MINT. medium gauge vinyl lies flat and true on the platter. Some small hairlines from sleeve removal visible under spotlight but nothing affecting play. Fantastic audio experience. Playing surfaces shine nicely . High purity vinyl used for these quad pressings. Incidentally no inserts came with with this Australian quadrophonic pressing. Matrices : A2/B1 . I think this is the only B1 matrix available for TDSOTM anywhere !?. . UK 1st pressings have A2/B2 matrices. Vinyl is EX. Gradings as per : UK Record Collector Grading System definitions.
