Description
Pink Floyd The Dark Side Of The Moon 1st UK Press with Solid Blue Prism on record labels, Dark Blue slight tint Gatefold sleeve and Black original 1st Press poly lined inner, complete with 2 Original posters and 2 original Stickers.
Original Black inner is in Excellent condition with no splits or wear
Gatefold Stickered sleeve is in Nice condition for its age. Front and back have some light rubbing/ringwear only and there is a little wear to corners and edges but a really Nice example of this rare sleeve
Both sides of the vinyl under strong artificial light have no obvious scratches so looks nice and shiny. Both sides have a patch of scuffing but apart from that just whispy faint marks and a few hairlines Visually it's a great looking copy.
Labels have signs of being played around spindle hole when held in strong light, no wear or writing, lovely clean rare labels
Played all the way through on my budget deck and the audio is still strong and vibrant with little lessening in sound quality, there is light crackle/faint clicks throughout but once the music gets going it does not ditract from the music, i personally like that light background only vinyl can provide. No skips or jumps, loud pops or loud clicks EXCEPT for the skip during MONEY which is a well known pressing flaw on majority of 1st pressings. A really nice listen. It has not been cleaned so will benefit from a clean.
The 2 original posters are flat and generally clean with not wear or damage. The 2 stickers do have a few creases but are original and unused.
There are so few copies of this rare record, a nice listen and really nice example
I have also listed a 1st Press UK MONO copy of Piper At The Gates Of Dawn
Will be very well packaged in a cruciform mailer with added stiffners, vinyl removed from sleeves and placed in new inner to prevent damage.
