Description

Time to finally have a clearout !!

Here we have a first pressing of Piper at the Gates of Dawn, in mono - the matrix numbers are XAX 3419 - 2 and XAX 3420 - 1, catalogue number SX6157.  The vinyl is in very good condition with some scuff marks and light scratches which are barely audible - EXCEPT for a short passage on track 3 of side one (Matilda Mother) during which you can hear a click from a small but slightly deeper scratch.                                                                                                               The inner (original) sleeve has no rips or tears, but is a little discoloured due to age.                The outer sleeve also has no rips or tears,but is slightly creased around the edges and is again a bit discoloured on the back. Also on the back,the original price (37/5d) and file reference have been written along the top edge.                                                                                                        I have owned this record from new (yes I am that old) and can confirm that it has been played very infrequently.
