Description

Minotaur is a limited edition box set of the Pixies music, featuring a complete re-design of record sleeves, one over sized 92 page book, two smaller books, a giclee print and two posters housed in a clamshell case.

I was invited by Vaughan Oliver to work on Minotaur and

the brief was to create type using imagery. Working independently I created artwork based on the album Bossanova, alongside a small group of designers, each with different Pixies album to work with.

Minotaur is curated by legendary graphic designer, Vaughan Oliver, who in connection with photographer Simon Larbalestier, created the album artwork for all five Pixies' studio albums. Oliver and Larbalestier have teamed up once again on Minotaur, to create their largest single body of Pixies work to date."
