For sale here is a great find - a near mint mastered example of the original motion picture soundtrack LP "Planet of the Apes" with music composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmth.

This was released in 1968 and manufactured by The Total Sound, Inc. under the Project 3 label in the USA (PR 5023 SD). 

This is not a reissued LP.  It is an original.

The gatefold album jacket is in near mint condition front and back.  It is nice and shiny and clean with virtually no ring or other surface wear on the front or back.  The spine, edges and corners are in excellent shape, as are the corners.  There are no marks or cuts or splits.  The inside of the gatefold is also near mint.   

Side 1 of the vinyl record is in near mint condition.  It is shiny and clean with no groove damage and no scuffs.  It appears as new and should play perfectly.  Side 2 is in the same condition except for one very fine hairline that is difficult to find without a magnifying glass.  It should also play perfectly or nearly so.  The record labels are also in near mint condition.

On both sides of the record, near the labels, is engraved "MASTERDISK." 

The inner sleeve is original and in excellent condition.
