I swore I'd be buried with this one when my time was up. Alas, the recession isn't letting up yet, have to let it go. Seriously, a gem here. TPi (Terry Philips, Inc.) - 1001, 1974. This may be the greatest thing I've ever listened to, on so many levels. As the back cover says, you'll "Go Ape!! On a musical trip that will have you dancing... singing a long[sic]... learning from 10 original, beautiful, and exciting songs. Hear Gaylen! Hear Dr. Zaius! Hear Irko! as they tell you what they think about humans - and themselves. PLANET OF THE APES is a musical trip the whole family will enjoy." I'm shedding a tear as I write this, this album must be heard to be believed. Ridiculous "ape" voices, crazy songs... Original songs include "Planet of the Apes," "Jungle Fever," "People Sure Do Make Funny Noises," and "Hey Pet," among others. Jacket NM-, very minor wear. Vinyl NM. Unbelievable! Don't miss out!
