Description
The Beatles Please Please Me Australian Very very first Gold mono.
Another rarer than rare record you are ever likely to see for sale,
Only 500 were pressed then matched to the UK imported covers.
This beauty is in lovely condition and doesn't jump, skip or sound overplayed/distorted.
The labels mark so easily on this edition and these look nice.
The cover is the correct very first UK sleeve which housed the Gold labels over too, and even the paper inner is correct and in nice shape.
Prices on these are still very low considering what they are and how rare they are.
I expect this to go back to Australia at the end of the auction!
It has been brought to my attention from a Bruce in Aussie with very good credentials (Thanks Applerecordsfan) ,that this website explains all:
http://www.beatlesaustralia.com/01_PPM_index.html
Just click on the gold mono at the top of the page and it will bring you to all the Australian Gold Monos released in their order (plus every other release!).
It also has brought to my attention that mine is IN FACT the correct one! (3rd one down) and that there were only 500 of these babies made with this label!
Please bid with confidence.
