This album was released only in Japan to commemorate the Beatles' visit to Japan.
Although the song order is different, it consists of the same songs as their debut record Please Please Me on the
original British Parlophone disc.
In the UK, it was released right after the second single, Please Please Me.
There are a lot of R&B songs, which gives a sense of their musical foundation at that time.
However, the sound, which is not blackened, conversely fascinates the world.
On the Japanese obi, the words "Stereo! This is the Beatles."
