Note: This record was part of a collection I purchased from a Mobile Alabama estate. I have many 78 & 45 records I will be offering up over the next few weeks. The Vinyl Record Grading Scale:
SEALED. Jacket sealed shut in shrink wrap; disc sold ungraded or "as is."
NM. Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. No visible signs of wear or damage.
VG++. May have one or two visible imperfections (sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other marks) that does not affect play. Still very shiny and near new looking.
VG+. A few visible imperfections (sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other marks) Still very shiny with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.
VG. Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. No deep scratches.
VG-. A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force this grade, as with the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.
G. Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light and deep scratches. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger or weaker copies within this range.
