Description

Invitation to the opening of the Polsky’s department store in Summit Mall, Akron, Ohio in October of 1965. This was probably mailed to store credit card holders. Included is: (1) the printed invitation on cream colored card stock; (2) original envelope with line drawing of Summit Mall on the front advertising the opportunity to “hear the story of Summit Mall” and map on the back showing location “Just minutes away from your own backyard”; (3) AND 33 1/3 rpm record on flat sheet with blue colored grooves and on the back of the record a list of “Here’s Where You’ll Find it at Polsky”s” listing the Mall Level and Lower Level departments.

This is a rare piece of Akron and Summit County advertising memorabilia in incredible shape and including a collectible record used to advertise the store.
