An excellent copy of Richard D James' only album as Polygon Window.

Not that many original 1993 first pressings about, so if you don't have it,

here is your chance.

The condition of the playing surfaces is excellent, all four sides are beautifully glossy,

dust and fingerprint free.

A Side Just the normal wear you will find on vinyl that has been played, but well looked after.

There is one more noticeable to the eye, yet still superficial, hairline at the end of Audax Powder.

I have play tested this and there is absolutely no loss of sound quality at all,

no clicks, pops or any other sounds.

B Side Nothing to mention over and above the usual extremely fine hairlines from being taken out

of and being put into the sleeve.

C Side as side B, but one more noticeable to the eye, yet still superficial, hairline through 'Supremacy'.

Again I have play tested the track and there is absolutely no loss of sound quality at all,

no clicks, pops or any other sound.

D Side Again, just the usual light surface marks from handling and playing the record.

The outer sleeve is in good condition. Please see listing images. The spine is excellent with one small crease.

All corners are nice and sharp, with the exception of the back cover top left corner which is a little dunched.

There is some damage to the inner gatefold. Looks like I have got it wet at some point, closed the cover

and some of the print from the right side has become stuck to the left side leaving an area of bare cardboard.

This can be seen in the listing images.

Because of the damage to the inner gatefold I have started the listing at a stupidly low price

for such a sought after album with it's vinyl in such exceptional condition.

Unless otherwise stated every record was purchased by myself from new and only ever played

by myself on my own deck and with as expensive a cartridge as I could afford at the time.

When it comes to attributing a grading to each of my records I will confess I am not an expert.

And while both the Goldmine standard and The Record Collectors systems give us a number of agreed fundamentals

to help determine a grading for vinyl and its associated media, attributing a true and accurate grading to something as

individual as a pre-owned piece of Vinyl is unavoidably subjective.

One person's 'slight scuff' may be another's deal breaker.

With this in mind I will endeavour to describe as accurately as possible, in the descriptions of each listing,

not only what I feel to be a fair grading, but also an overall description of the record in question, along with details

of any and all marks, defects and anomalies I can see.

I am a firm believer in the maxim of - if you can feel it you can hear it.

So if there is anything that looks or feels like it may possibly affect a record's playing quality or sound clarity,

and therefore the pleasure derived from listening to it or its true value to an collector, I will give it one final spin

and make my findings known in the product description.

Over and above this I am happy to take returns.

I personally wouldn't bid on a pre-owned record without the option to return it if I felt that the seller hadn't been

totally truthful and transparent in their description of it, or that on receipt it didn't live up to my expectations. 

And I do not expect you to do so either. 

So please, feel free to bid with confidence.

I am a professional photographer by trade, and have gone to great lengths to light and photograph covers, inner sleeves

and the vinyl's themselves in such a way as to show, as accurately as possible, the actual condition of all.

Rest assured that what you see is exactly what will be despatched to you if you are the successful winner of each listing.

Before photographing each record went through a three stage cleaning process:

1 - Removal of any surface dust with a light brushing over with a carbon fibre and velvet disc cleaning pad

2 - Deep cleaning with large (Big Fudge) velvet pad and cleaning solution

3 - A final brushing with a Pro-Ject carbon fibre record brush.

And finally, because Mr or Mrs  Poasty may not handle your record with the same care and reverence that you or I would,

I will dispatch in a specialised corrugated cardboard record mailing outer, and if I feel even more protection is required

I will also include two extra sheets of 3mm corrugated cardboard for added safety and protection.
