Description
Popol Vuh ORIG ITA LP Die nacht der seele VG+ '79 PDU Krautrock Electronic Prog
Original Italian LP released in 1979 on PDU Records. Cat: Pid.A7014.
The project's 1979 album, Die Nacht der Seele (subtitled "Tantric Songs") contains slow Post-Rock dirges with synth/piano repetitive chording or acoustic arpeggios: several melodies are repeated on following tracks, resulting in a light release which sounds way shorter than it actually is. Two tracks were used on the film Fitzcarraldo.
Tracks : Mantram Der Erdberührung/ Engel Der Luft/ Mit Händen, Mit Füssen/ Wo Bist Do, Der Du Überwunden Hast? / Gesegnet Du, Bei Deiner Ankunft/ Mantram Der Erdberührung II/ Im Reich Der Schatten/ Wanderer Durch Die Nacht/ Mantram Der Herzberührung I/ Auf Dem Weg/ Mantram Der Herzberührung II/ In Der Halle Des Lernen.
There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches that cause some crackles in parts and is in VG+ condition. Gloss cover has some light marks and is in Excellent condition.
