2018 release, the sophomore album by YouTube sensation Poppy. Poppy began recording the album before going on the Poppy. Computer Tour. Poppy states that the album strongly focuses on questioning gender, identity and expensive fashion. Unlike her previous album Poppy. Computer, the album will be stepping away from the character of Poppy on most songs. Am I A Girl? represents a bold step forward for the artist, featuring the robotic and dystopian "Time Is Up" collaboration with multi-platinum selling DJ/producer and Mad Decent founder, Diplo, a triumph into nu-metal with "X", a Fernando Garibay-produced track, "Hard Feelings" and the soon to be much talked about collaboration "Play Destroy" with Grimes.
