Description

Another original concert/gig poster for three shows at The Earth and Long Goodbye, which were in Portland.  Great billing title on this, "30 Seconds Over Portland, California New Wave Arrives", which sounds like a takeoff on Pere Ubu's, "30 Seconds Over Tokyo".  Featured bands are from California and include The Dead Kennedys, The Bags, and The Dils with a shot of each band. Judging from the bands on the bill and the dates, this poster looks like it is from 1979 as well.  Poster is in great shape with only minor creasing wear and age toning of the paper. Size is 11" x 17".

I’ve been collecting for about 30 years and have acquired some great items, but it’s time to trim the collection a bit. I’ll be listing some tasty vinyl, posters, handbills, flyers, zines, fanzines, and misc. promo items primarily music related. Some of the areas that will be features are punk, Texas material, psychedelic, art/avant (e.g., Residents, Snakefinger, Ralph records stuff, etc.). These first batches will be more punk/underground/indie in nature. In upcoming auctions (when I can locate them…) are a Cramps flyer at CBGBs and a Sex Pistols flyer from the UK.

Some of the information to consider on all my listings… First, all items are original unless otherwise noted. Second, all shipping quotes in the listing are for shipment domestically in the US. If you are out of country, please wait until after the auction ends for me to find out shipping options, which I’ll include in the invoice. I try to keep shipping costs down, so I’ll use the cheapest postage option unless you want something different – in which case you’ll have to let me know. I can’t be held responsible for the post office or someone else losing your shipment so factor that in as to how you want things shipped.
