Portsmouth Sinfonia The Worst of Australian LP
“The Worst of the Portsmouth Sinfonia” features all the “hits” – the “William Tell Overtures”, “Also Sprach Zarathustra” (2001 Theme) and music by Grieg, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and other composers who have never recovered from the experience. to this and the Sex Pistols will begin to sound melodious. An Australian pressing on the Transatlantic Label (MLX 189), the record is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds awful (the Music that is) with a minimum of surface noise. The cover has slight ring wear and a few small creases along the spine edge – in very good condition.
