Description

Full-length LP from The John Coltrane Quartet titled "The John Coltrane Quartet Plays" reissued by Impulse! ABC Records (AS-85) in 1973. Nice repress of the follow-up album by Coltrane after his magnificent "A Love Supreme" both originally released in 1965. Coltrane and his quartet take four themes (one original) and expand into intense and probing flights of improvisation. Essential listening!

Labels are in EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT condition. Vinyl record is in EXCELLENT condition with nice luster and one very light surface blemish. Plays with some minor surface tics mostly at beginning of sides becoming more sporadic as record plays on...sounds great! Gatefold cover is in EXCELLENT condition with some wear at corners, some ringwear and other surface wear...no splits or writing.
All vinyl albums are shipped in protective cardboard mailers with cardboard flats and bubble wrap for safe shipping.
