Description
Up for auction here is issue 6 of Praxis magazine from 1980 (according to the inside) or 1981 (according to the cover). Praxis was a thick art mag that made sure every issue they put out was unique. This particulary issue is printed loose sheets of paper in a glossy fold-over cover. This issue also includes a strip of plastic spraypainted green, two pages are printed on tracing paper (one of which is stained) and the last four pages are a DIY B-52's flipbook--cut it apart, staple it together, and have fun. The flipbook has NOT been cut apart. Really a cool, striking magazine. Articles include: B-52's, the Cramps, Joy Division, Tuxedomoon, Bouncin and Behavin', 8-Eyed Spy (interview w/photos conducted the day before Goerge Scott's death), Peter Murphy, Psychedelic Furs, and lots of visual arts.
International buyers, be aware that this magazine weighs almost a pound (and more than a pound when packed).
