NOTE:  When I posted this last night, I accidentally included audio from my computer's ambient microphone, rather than direct from my turntable, so it sounded noisy and weird.  Apologies for that.  The audio is now as it should be, though I made the recordings using a modern, microgroove stylus, and the surface noise would no doubt be greatly reduced if played with a stylus appropriate for the groove width on this late-30s pressing.

Ramblin' Bob (aka Robert Nighthawk, Robert Lee McCoy), Big Apple Blues b/w She's Got What It Takes, on Bluebird 7987.  Great and rare 1938 recording featuring Sonny Boy Williamson on harmonica on the A-side.  Disk is strong VG on the Goldmine scale, strong V++ to E- on the VJM scale.  Very good shine both sides, with some light rubbing, and some marks and scratches, some of which can be felt with a fingernail (and do sound, as you can hear on the clips).  The disk may not have been kept in a sleeve, but it shows little evidence of play--there's no notable groove wear or deterioration of the fidelity.  I've included complete, unmanipulated files of both sides, so you can hear how it sounds.  A legitimate rarity from a legendary blues performer.

MINT-  Perfect or virtually perfect.  

VG+ Light marks, full shine, great looking record

VG  Still fairly shiny but clearly a used record, light scratches, will play well but with some surface noise

VG-  Played or used more heavily, lots of scratches, more pronounced surface noise, but still plays through okay
