Description

Rare pre-war jazz 78, Okeh #40598, circa 1926. Clarence Williams Stompers "Jackass Blues" on side A, and "What's The Matter Now" on side B.
For a shellac record that is nearly 100 years old this is remarkably well preserved. There are no chips or cracks. There are some light superficial scuffs to the surface, a minor dullness to the shellac but still quite glossy. Clean labels with an original store sticker from the 1920's. I'm not familiar with the grading system for 78's but I took many photos for you to see the condition for yourself and I described the condition to the best of my ability.              
This will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail instead of Media Mail as it is much safer. Please note that I do have experience packing 78's and have successfully shipped many of them over the years. Your 78 will be packed with the utmost care to ensure it's safe delivery.
