Preachin The Blues MEMPHIS SLIM, JIMMY REED, JOHN LEE HOOKER 1962 First Press Stateside Records 1962
This is a wonderful blues album in a good condition but for a score that runs through the first 2 tracks of Side 1. Having said that, the tic gets lost in the music and I wasn't too bothered by it when test playing, although it is pronounced in the silence between tracks 1 and 2. I would never sell a record with a jump, this is a tic that is reflected in the price. We can hear it on track 2 more than track 1 but gradually it disappears and the rest of the listening is totally enjoyable.
I have graded the vinyl Very Good because of the score mentioned above. The rest are light play marks consistent with a record being brought in and out of its sleeve and use generally.
I have graded the sleeve Very Good, clearly signs of wear and use after nearly 60 years since it was released.
