Description

Absolutely stunning copy of the 1960 black and avocado label pressing of the debut LP

by Dion and the Belmonts, on Laurie LLP-2002. Features the all-time classic Teenager in Love, which made him a huge star. This copy is unbelievable. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and pays completely flawlessly and just beautifully. Unheard of to find such an early copy that is so clean and sounds this good. Truly way better sounding than the later pressings or the awful current CDs or digital streams. This is the only way to hear it. The cover is quite beautiful but it has a seams spit about halfway across the top, as well as some creasing at the lower right corner. A price sticker is partly torn off at the top left, as well. Other than that this cover is simply gorgeously clean and crisp. The metallic gold squares are shiny and reflective and the edges and corners are crisp and clean, and there is NO ringwear, which is amazing for this record. Also comes with the Laurie / Dion inner sleeve. Truly a top, top copy. Near impossible to beat.
