Description

This is an original 1965 monaural U.S. Philles Records LP titled 'Presenting The Fabulous Ronettes', the one and only classic Phil Spector-produced LP featuring Ronnie Spector and the legendary girl group The Ronettes. It is Philles Records catalog number PHLP-4006, yellow labels with the group name spelled correctly. Tracks: Walking In The Rain, Do I Love You?, So Young, (The Best Part Of) Breakin' Up, I Wonder, What'd I Say, Be My Baby, You Baby, Baby I Love You, How Does It Feel?, When I Saw You, Chapel Of Love. This LP is in a bit better than filler condition at an overall VG-. Condition of record grades at about G+/VG- with a grade this low due only to one small surface scratch on the track 'You Baby' which will either cause three or four bad ticks or skips; otherwise this record would grade a mid to high VG+ with all original gloss and a fairly small amount of other surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Labels have some spindle marks, no real problems. Condition of cover is also conservatively VG- with the main flaw being a worn and stained area on the upper right front cover which also has a couple of wrinkles in the same area; a lighter stain over Ronnie's hair, and a little writing at the lower right corner of the front cover - All of these flaws should be visible in the accompanying image. The darker shading at the top and left of the front cover image is mostly a result of scanning, not from any great amount of actual dark discoloration of the cover in those areas, there is a bit of actual darker discoloration right along the top and left-hand edges. Cover also has a 1" split in the middle of the bottom edge (no other splits), some general ring and contact wear as can be seen in the accompanying image, and some wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no tears or stickers. I will start this sought-after collectable LP at a low opening bid price due to its lower condition grade and allow the bidders to determine its final value - A choice and essential addition to any Phil Spector or roots rock-n-roll record collection! Winning bidder pays $3.00 media mail postage or actual insured priority mail postage within the U.S; due to new eBay regulations insurance will now be optional on my shipments, buyer assumes risk of loss or damage in transit on uninsured shipments. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - Uninsured first class international airmail postage to the UK or anyplace in Europe is $13.50 - Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S. WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
