Description
Preservation Hall Jazz Band with Tom Waits, a limited issue, 2 track 78 rpm vinyl record.
Released in 2010, this limited pressing of 504 records, number 326 is offered here.
Media Mail Shipping with insurance in the US is include in the price.
The songs are the earliest known recorded examples of Mardi Gras Indian chants.
“Tootie Ma Was A Big Fine Thing”, and “Corrine Died On The Battlefield” were first recorded by Danny Barker in 1947.
Visual Grade
VG+ (LP). Should play like new (untested, I only have spring wound acoustic phonographs),
with very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets (pictured).
A bit hazy from sitting on the shelf and needs cleaning.
Thanks for looking!
James.
