This is the ultra-rare Boxcar Records original talking-Elvis LP. Apparently, RCA had rights to release all of Elvis’ musical albums, and manager Col. Parker wanted to release an album that RCA had no rights on. And so he came up with this idea to issue an LP of Elvis telling stories, bantering and teasing with his live concert audiences. And thus, we have this 1974 album of no-song, all-speak Elvis issued on Parker’s own label, Boxcar Records in Madison, TN, to be sold only at Presley’s concerts. (RCA eventually did reissue this album, and nearly all “Having Fun” LPs you’ll see for sale [be careful!] are RCA reissues, not original Boxcars.) A curiosity to be sure--and a can’t-be-without-it collector’s item.


CONDITION of DISC: VG++ (a few surface marks, though none that produce more than some soft clicks here and a few light  “pops” or two there)


CONDITION of SLEEVE: NM- (no cut-out punched holes, or sliced corners, or ringwear or stains)


BEEN GRADING AND SELLING RECORDS IN STORES  AND ONLINE FOR 20+ YEARS

ANY mentionable flaws seen anywhere on sleeve or vinyl that do or do not show up in pictures will be mentioned if present.
