Description
Up for bid is a one and a half side lp radio show, King Biscuit Flower Hour. Side one is the Pretenders with the original line up (Honeyman-Scott, Farndon) and here are the tracks: Honda Commercial, Precious, Kid, Talk of the Town, Space Invader, Brass In Pocket, Nestle commercial. This side has a scary looking scuff mark running from the center to the edge, but IT IS NOT AUDIBLE. Additionally, there is a small scuff mark/imperfection that is audible up through the Honda Commercial and is not present thereafter. Side two is the Pretenders. Tracks are: The wait, Tattooed Love Boys, Up the Neck, Honda Commercial, Nestle Commercial. This side has no scuff marks, plays fine. Side Three is the Jim Carroll Band. I don't know the tracks on this one, but I can tell you there is a skip (at least on my turntable) during "all the people that died". Side four is just blank, there is no music on it.
The Pretenders show is killer, very intense, and the records sound great despite the appearance of the major scuff mark. If you're a Pretenders fan, you won't be disappointed. Jim Carroll fans will be disappointed that there is a skip during "all the people that died", but the performance, from My Father's Place, is intense as well.
There are two dates listed on the labels. One is February 15, 1981 and the other says "airdate May, 3, 1981". There is no cover for these albums, just paper sleeves. I will ship them carefully in protective cardboard.
