The 40th Anniversary Legacy John Hughes (1950–2009) redefined the American teen movie with classics like The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of his iconic 1986 masterpiece, Pretty In Pink returned to theaters for a limited Valentine's Day engagement in February 2026, featuring a stunning new 4K remaster.
The Definitive 2026 Reissue This limited-edition "Pretty in Baby Pink" vinyl is the musical companion to that 4K restoration. Often cited as one of the greatest soundtracks of all time, this expanded 2026 pressing finally includes Otis Redding’s "Try a Little Tenderness" and Talk Back’s "Rudy"—two essential tracks missing from the original 1986 release. From the #4 Billboard hit "If You Leave" by OMD to the legendary title track by The Psychedelic Furs, this is the most complete version of the soundtrack ever produced.
