Description
This is a re-issue of the highly collectable Pretty Things – SF Sorrow, SCX 6308, the overall album, is extremely good, and sounds tremendous playing on my Rega Planar 2 with an Ortofon cartridge.
The vinyl is very glossy, with only a few hairline marks, which in places create a click and some background noise on the quieter tracks, but doesn’t distract from the overall psychedelic multi-layered sound. There are spindle marks , see photos, but not many.
The outer laminated gatefold sleeve retains its glossy finish and is in excellent condition. There are faint ring wear marks on the front along with small fold on the top right corner and a tiny nick in the bottom of the sleeve. The rear has ring wear on the top and bottom showing through the gloss. There is also a few creases in the laminated surface at the spine. The spine is complete with full credits visible. The inner sleeve is also very clean, but has some dis-colouration, along the top where the red on one side has stained the opposite side.
It also comes with am EMI period inner.
Overall I would be consider that if you are looking for a relatively inexpensive copy of the this truly wonderful album, this could be it.
