Hi and welcome to another one of my auctions, In the next week i will be listing around 10-15 RARE LP`s, These will all be listed for 10 days and starting at £3 with NO RESERVE, I have been a member for around 10 years now and pride my self on my feedback, I have not had an unhappy customer yet with over 1000+ items being bought and sold.
I won`t be giving you a 500 word essay on how amazing!!!! or Stunning!!! an item is , What i will do is give an accurate and correct grading with at least 6-8 pictures showing the item from all angles to give you a clear image on how the items quality is and do my best to give the best description of condition that i can, I offer a refund for any item that does not live up to the description i have given, My feedback is very important and i have not had a neutral or negative comment in 10 years since i started out, So please bid with confidence for the rare items that i will be selling this week.
The items i will be listing are from artists such as, Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Pretty things, Floyd, Duncan Browne, Fairfield Parlour + more. Items that i will be offering are the rarer items by the above and in a very nice collectable condition as they come from my private collection and have not been offered for sale by me before, I will only be offering genuine 1st pressings many with the rarer mixes in stereo, If there are any questions please contact me prior to bidding, Many Thanks.
I always grade my records to the highest possible standards with either a (+) or (-) for added accuracy, All my records are graded according to the UK RRPG, Customer serivce is always a priority so if for any reason there is a problem with an item i have sold please contact me and any issue it will be dealt with in a swift proffesional manner.
Item for Auction
The Pretty Things - S.F.Sorrow LP(Columbia SMC 74574), This is your chance to get hold of one of the rarer and hard to find SF Sorrows on the Genuine SMC catalouge number, This was issued in Germany just after the change of lable from the Red/Gold/Cream and was only available in this form for a very short time. It has the lable mispress only found on the 1st issues `She Says Good Moorning` as opposed to `Morning`, The best part is the condition as its NEAR MINT and plays just as good, Dont miss your chance to get this one as you WILL be waiting a while for another to come up. Matrix numbers Side 1 = YAX 3738-1 Side 2 = YAX 3739-1
Outer Sleeve Condition
The original front laminated outer gatefold sleeve is in great condition with NO seam splits, NO Rips, No writing etc... or damage to mention and the spine is still in great condition, The only thing i can are a few minute creases in the laminate(See Pics), Still a very very nice condition of this classic sleeve, Overall a great example of this classic LP, graded a conservative EXCELLENT+
Lable Condition
The original Blue Columbia lables are the rarest with the Mis-Pressing of `She Says Good Moorning` and are in near perfect condition and grade at the very least NEAR MINT condition, with only a couple of very light spindle marks noticable in strong light.
Original paper inner sleeve is EXCELLENT+ condition with a couple of creases
Vinyl condition
The original 1st press vinyl is in great condition and has a lovely dark, glossy sheen to the surface and has had very little use, There are NO scratches or nasty marks on the vinyl, The LP has been carefully handled over the years, Upon close inspection Side 1 of the LP has nothing at all to report and i can only see 3 small marks on side 2, Which are on the 1st 2 tracks, Overall Side 1 is NEAR MINT to MINT- and side 2 because of the 3 very light marks EXCELLENT condition, A fantastic opportunity to get a top class LP in very very nice condition, Ones like this don`t come up for sale that often, GENUINE 1st PRESSING
Audio Condition
I have just played the LP and can confirm that the audio is great, The sound is what you would expect from a quality 60`s 1st pressing, In between the tracks there is virtually no noise, Maybe a little on the run in`s if i am to be super critical, Due to the small marks on side 2 there are a few clicks heard in the background on the 1st one and a half songs after that its as good as side 1 which is nerly as good as it gets. You would be hard pushed to find a better S T E R E O copy. Audio grade has got to be at the very least NEAR MINT side 1 & EXCELLENT+ for side 2.
