Description

Fiddlin” John Carson: Turkey in the Straw/Run Nigger Run—both recorded on August 27, 1924.

This is not an “electric” record, despite the Okeh Electric label.

Record is covered in scuffs and scratches.

Plays V; decent amount of background noise, but fiddling and lyrics plainly discernible (surprisingly given the visual condition). Recording quality is excellent on this late acoustic side. There are a few “chunk” noises on Run side.
