Description

There is a lot known about this record and also a lot unknown about the band leader Geo. Warmack SHANGHAI SHUFFLE an African-American band leader named George Warmack or Captain Warmack, but this is the only record issued with his name on it. His birthplace is unknown, but the earliest evidence points to bands he played in near Dayton Ohio, then Cleveland and Buffalo. There is an interesting PDF if you do a search on George Warmack that goes into detail about his history and relationship to Roy Parkinson FLORIDA. Very obscure record by a somewhat obscure band leader.


Plays distinct and solidly loud above light if any background. Excellent player both sides.


Record visually has very light surface marks from that look like sleeve marks.
