Description

Prince - 1999 RARE WB KENYA kenyan exotic press EAST AFRICA LP

Unique item: the East African press of Prince’s 1999 LP! Distuinguished by other pressings by its slightly ‘off’ colours (most likely caused by the reproduction process of photographing the original sleeve and using that as a master in the offset printing chain) and the mention of 'Top In Town Printing Works’ on the back, the company that used to print the majority of Kenyan record sleeves throughout the 1980s. Also, this is a single lp, not a double LP like most US and European pressings, see below.

Info from Discogs about this press: “Kenyan pressing, same 5-track listing as South African & Zimbabwe pressings however this pressing incorrectly shows the labels with 4 tracks (Side 1) and 3 tracks (Side 2). Record actually plays just 5 tracks (3 + 2), with tracks as listed on the rear sleeve cover and as above.”
