Description
This is the legendary Black Album from Prince on vinyl. I obtained the record shortly after the original release was cancelled. I was told it was a German copy that "missed the recall" shipment. I really can't tell if it's legit or a bootleg but I as told it was original at the time. Catalog # 925 677-1 (WX 147). I do not have the original sleeve so it's in a black cardboard sleeve with a large center hole (the same as used for 12" singles). Vinyl has several surface marks and light scratches but no deep ones and the surface marks produce only slight noise during the few quite sections. I think it's actually mastered better than the promo vinyl version that Warner Brothers released in the mid-90's (which I have as well). Feel free to ask questions.
On Sep-24-16 at 04:50:01 PDT, seller added the following information:ADDITIONAL NOTE: I found out that this in NOT an official pressing a few days ago and tried to post this information to the description but just found out it didn't go thru. Anyway, I'm not looking to rip anybody off so I am posting the info now. Even though it's not legit, it's still mastered well and sounds good.
