Controversy is the first track on Prince's fourth album Controversy, the track was released as the album's first single 6 weeks prior to the album release in 1981.

This is the very rare US Promo only sleeve

Condition

Sleeve - EX, a tiny bit of age related wear prevents the Sleeve from receiving a true Near Mint grade although it’s close. It is however in amazing condition, the stylised type face print stands out beautifully on the black background. No creases, splits, rips, tears or discolouration. It’s been lovingly looked after.

Both labels are in exactly the same condition as they arrived straight from the supplier. Bright clean, labels.

Genuinely, you will be hard pressed to find a nicer example.

Please look closely at photos forcondition.  My records are conservatively graded on a scale ofNM/VG+/VG/G+.  Not selling any junk.  These come from mylarge personal collection of records from the 70's, 80's-90's. WhenI buy something, I make a cassette copy then store. Unless I boughtsomething used, it's only been out of the sleeve twice.
