Product/Provenance
I Wanna Be Your Lover was the first single from Prince's second album Prince, and was released in February 1980 in Japan.
The b-side, My Love Is Forever, was taken from Prince's first album, For You.
It was certified Gold by RIAA on 18 March 1980, indicating a million copies shipped.
The Single is very much regarded as a pop classic by the industry.
Condition (See Photos)
Sleeve - N Mint, there is some small spotting you can see in the photographs, I’ve down graded due to this however in truth it’s as good as new with no damage.
Vinyl - Mint, unplayed.
Labels - Mint, Beautiful condition.
A wonderful example of Princes first single release in Japan, the record is approaching 40 years old and is in stunning condition. Investment piece.
