CONDITION DETAILS 12" Single. Vinyl plays nicely (play-tested); occasional very-light crackles. Cover looks great; light-scuffing and slight wear near edges (front/back). Inner sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is mostly readable, with wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge, wear to corners. Opening shows signs of some use. (Not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD My Name Is Prince is a song by Prince and The New Power Generation, from the 1992 Love Symbol album. The song is about Prince himself, and his musical prowess. He changed his stage name to an unpronounceable symbol not long after the release of this single. The intro to the song features vocal samples from Prince's earlier songs "I Wanna Be Your Lover", "Partyup", and "Controversy". The rap sequence is performed by NPG member Tony M. The B-sides were "Sexy Mutha", a clean remix of "Sexy MF", and "2 Whom It May Concern", a preview of songs from the then-upcoming Love Symbol album. My Name Is Prince returned Prince and The NPG to radio and the Top 40 in the US.

TRACK LISTING Let's Go Crazy (Special Dance Mix) Erotic City ("Make Love Not War Erotic City Come Alive") (feat. Sheila E.)
